Over five years ago, Jay Kubassek was selling mufflers at a Midas shop. Today he and his partner, Aaron Parkinson have revolutionaized the internet business industry with the successful launch of Carbon Copy Pro, an internet business education company with customers in over 160 countries and gross revenues of over $20 million. Jay is also the head of the indie film fund, Aliquot Films and creative & branding firm, Aliquot Sum.
His entrepreneurial spirit dates back to when he was 19 years old, managing his family's multi-million dollar farm and speaking at innovative conferences on sustainable agriculture.
As professional speaker, trainer, real estate developer, philantropist and extreme sport enthusiast - Jay's drive as an entrepreneur stretches beyond the companies he owns and works with.
2008 was a special year for Jay's career. Along with the launch of Business in a Box (BIB), his first film, Chelsea on the Rocks debuted at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival to great reviews and will be released in theaters in the fall.
True to his adventurous spirit, he was also the lead driver in the Baja 1000 off-road race - one of the most dangerous racing events in the world. In December 2008, he was also participated in the World Elephant Polo Championships in southern nepal, as part of the New York Blue - representing the United States.
As a philanthropist, Jay has an unyielding desire to give back to causes he believes in. The Name Campaign in Africa, The Children?s Institute for Autism, The Tracy McGrady Basketball Camp, Mount Sinai Juvenile Diabetes, and The National Breast Cancer Foundation are a few of the non-profit organizations he supports.
Jay Kubassek resides in NYC with his girlfriend Jamie, three year old son Milo and dog Cooper.
